Where is Christian-ISP service available?

Christian-ISP Internet Service is available in virtually every major metropolitan area, city, and town in the nation. We currently have approximately 6,000 dialup access locations with new locations being added all the time. Click here to find a location near you.

There is only one dialup access number listed in my area. Will I get busy signals?

Having a single number does not mean there is just one modem line available. We have many lines available in each of our dial-up locations. Although busy signals can occur at times, we do our best to prevent them by adding additional lines when needed.

What is the difference between Christian-ISP.net and other Christian Internet Service Providers?

We are considerably less expensive, we offer only filtered dialup access, but probably more importantly, 100% of our net profits are directed to Christian ministries around the world. We select only those ministries that teach the truth from a fundamental bible belief system.

Will Christian-ISP put any kind of banner or pop up ads on my computer?

Christian-ISP does not sell advertising, which would create pop up ads or banner ads while you are online. The only advertising or pop-up ads you may experience are those generated by individual web sites that you choose to visit. These sites are not associated in any way with Christian-ISP.

Can I access my dialup account when traveling?

Included with your dialup service is the ability to access thousands of local access numbers throughout the continental United States. Please use our local access search tool to find a number in the area you will be traveling to. If you use our custom dialer to access the Internet, all of our local access numbers are contained within and the number you desire can be selected. Please note: Christian-ISP cannot represent or guarantee that any local access number is actually local to you. If you have any doubt, please contact your local telephone company for assistance.

How fast will my connection speed be?

Christian-ISP provides industry standard "56k" V.90 or V.92 connections at every dialup location. Your modem, the telephone lines, switches in your area, and user traffic determine the actual speed at which you connect. Our dialup network uses the latest technology and equipment to provide you with the best connection possible. But consider, with so many aspects involved in getting the connection to you, it is easy to see why connect speeds may vary. Many of the conditions that could affect the connection speed are beyond our control.

Will Christian-ISP ever sell any of my personal information?

Christian-ISP will never sell or provide any detailed or identifying customer information to any third party or outside organization. We highly value your privacy and guard it to the best of our abilities. Christian-ISP will however provide information on a case by case basis to any government or law enforcement agency as required by law.

What happens once I connect to Christian-ISP?

Once you have established a dialup connection, you can then open your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) or email program (Outlook Express, Eudora, etc.). Other than the family-friendly filtering we provide with every account, you are free to use any of your favorite internet applications, and explore the Internet in a clean and safe manner.

What is your refund policy?

Basically, once you have established a dialup connection with Christian-ISP.net, there is no refund available. For more information, see our policies page.
